Ref 37.5 what does it mean on the auxiliary lights?
The reference number (ref) indicates the light intensity and is equal to 4.8 lux (Lx).1 Ref= 4.8 Lux.
Lux is a unit of illuminance used to measure lighting. So if a car headlight has a reference number of 37.5, it is equal to 180 lux (37.5 x 4.8 = 180). We multiply this value by the number of additional lights, for example 2, and we get a value of 360 lux. For example, 350-700 lux is needed for office lighting, and a person can read a newspaper without problems in 1 lux.
