How to repair a broken thread with a thread repair kit?
If you have a broken thread on a car injector bolt, oil pan, spark plug socket, or any other device used in the field, you can easily repair the broken thread with a thread repair kit.
Thread repair is done as follows:
1. Drill out the damaged screw using a suitable drill bit.
2. Thread the hole using a threader.
3.Place the thread on the installation tool
4. Screw the thread into the hole.
5. Using the spring tongue breaking tool, break the spring tongue
6. The thread is repaired and ready for use.
