When choosing a car refrigerator, pay attention to how many volts it operates on. The volts can be different:
12v (volt) refrigerators operate from the cigarette lighter socket in vehicles with 12v current, such as cars and vans.
24v (volt) car refrigerators operate in 24v vehicles, such as trucks.
220/230/220-240v allows you to use the refrigerator at home directly from the wall socket.

If your refrigerator does not have a 220-240V option, but you still want to use it at home, you will need to purchase a voltage transformer that plugs into your home wall socket and has a special socket with the option of installing a 12V cigarette lighter. The transformer also converts the 230V current into the 12V current suitable for the refrigerator.

Car refrigerators are generally divided into those that do not have a freezer option and that generally cool the temperature to about 16-20 degrees lower than the ambient temperature (thermoelectric coolers). This means that if it is 30 degrees in your car, the temperature inside the refrigerator is 10-14 degrees. Refrigerators with cooling only generally also have a heating function, which helps keep the refrigerator up to 65 degrees warm. By using this function, you can keep your food warm.
In addition, there are car refrigerators with a freezer function that cool down to minus degrees. Such refrigerators are significantly more expensive.

Some modern car refrigerators also have USB ports for power, Bluetooth and WiFi interfaces, which allow you to set up and monitor the refrigerator's operation with your phone.

Additional features of a car refrigerator may include interior lighting, gas operation, and an LED display.
