professional, technically correct wire stripping is very easy with these wire strippers because the main steps are fully automated: just insert the cable and slide up to the previously set length limiter. press the handle of the pliers and they do everything else themselves: cut the insulation, remove the insulation part. the mechanics by which the cutting depth of the stripping blade is adapted to the wire diameter and the thickness of all standard insulation materials is patented.

single layer pvc insulation and many standard and special types of insulation are processed very well because the blades are straight and run parallel. due to the special movement of the blades, these wire strippers are not suitable for highly flexible and reinforced insulation materials, but rather only for single-layer insulated cable. the insulation is cut only as deep as necessary to remove the insulation layer. it effectively protects solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors from damage.

knipex is a German manufacturer of pliers, wrenches and other tools that are marketed for worldwide sales.

the company was founded in 1882 as a forge c. gustav putsch. [2] in the early days, production focused on pincers and blacksmith's tongs, which were initially made by hand, then more and more forging hammers and various machines were produced. In 1942, the representative of the second generation, Carl Putsch, registered the trademark knipex. especially since the 1950s, additional pliers have been continuously added to the program. karl putsch took over as leader in 1954. manufacturing operations became increasingly automated and product innovation became increasingly important. since the 1990s, various subsidiaries joined the knipex group. the fourth generation took over the reins of the company. foreign sales offices were established and today more than 60 percent of production is exported to many countries around the world.
