PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A high-quality, fast-drying two-component acrylic primer-filler with excellent adhesion to steel, polyester fillers and old paints and varnishes, the curing time makes V2018 an ideal repair primer. High resin content (class primer ensures very good filling, anti-corrosion surface quality. Compatible with solvent paints. Ready to sand after 60 minutes.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Acrylic primer can be applied:
• Steel and aluminum are pre-brushed and degreased
• Polished glass-polyester laminates (GFK/GRP)
• Polyester putties
• Epoxy primers
• Reactive soils
• Old paintwork in good condition, pre-matted and degreased

To obtain a high-quality coating, careful preparation of the base is necessary.
For grinding, we recommend:
sandpaper with gradation P280÷P320 (GRP P400 for manual sanding “wet”, “dry”)
sandpaper with gradation P180÷P220 (for machine dry sanding)
in a mess

NUMBER OF LAYERS AND PARAMETERS
2÷3 layers; 70÷90µm depending on the nozzle size.
RP: nozzle: 1.6 ÷ 2.0 mm; pressure: 2.0 ÷ 2.2 bar.
HVLP: nozzle: 1.5 ÷ 1.9 mm; pressure: 2.0 bar

CURE TIME
For a thickness of 150÷180 µm

OKAY. 10 min. at 60°C
For thickness 180÷250
OKAY. 2 hours at 20°C

Temperatures below 20°C significantly increase the curing time.

USE VISCOSITY
30÷50 sec. / 20°C DIN4
QUAILITY OF THE MIXTURE
OKAY. 65 min. at 20°C
EVAPORATION TIME
Between layers: approx. 5÷10 min.
Before heating: approx. 10 min.
Evaporation time depends on temperature and layer thickness.
INFRARED DRYING
Primer filler /150÷180 µm 10÷15 min. HF
Do not exceed the temperature of 60°C.
Follow the IR equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
Attention: Wait about 10 minutes before starting IR drying.
DRY GRINDING
Machine: P360÷P500
Instruction manual: P280÷P320
Wet GRINDING
Machine: P600÷P1000
Instruction: P800÷P1000

FURTHER WORKS
The following can be applied to the acrylic primer:
• One-component primers.
• Two-component topcoats.
GENERAL REMARKS
• Do not exceed the recommended doses of hardener!
• The best results when working with soil are achieved at room temperature.
• The air temperature and the temperature of the part to be painted should be approximately equal.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment when working with 2K products.
• Protect your eyes and respiratory tract.
• Rooms black be well ventilated.
• Paint guns and tools black be washed immediately after use.
