Tracer® UV dyes provide high leak detection accuracy at a competitive price. Based on only high-quality refrigerant oils, Tracer® UV paints will not cause wear to the seals of the vehicle's air conditioning system, cooling water system, fuel tank or connected air conditioning service unit. Since they do not contain any solvents, they do not impair the lubricity of the refrigerant oil. Available for different refrigerant oils (PAG, mineral oil, ester) and in different sizes and containers (sticks, cartridges, cans, bottles). Tracer® UV dyes are approved for use with new refrigerants such as CO₂ and R1234yf.

SAFE AND EFFECTIVE LEAK DETECTION
Reducing the amount of refrigerant charged in car air conditioning systems requires more sensitive leak detection devices. This is where WAECO offers a convincing solution with its highly fluorescent fixtures, lamps and glasses that are perfectly coordinated. UV leak detection additives are well proven for their fast, easy to use and highly accurate leak detection at competitive costs. Caution is advised as poor quality leak detection additives can cause the A/C service unit seals to wear out. In addition, they may contain solvents that impair the lubricity of the refrigerant oil. There is currently only one solvent-free UV additive available for use with refrigerant oils (PAG, mineral oil, ester) that has excellent fluorescence and is based on only high-quality refrigerant oils. Its name: TRACER®. When used correctly, this additive is completely safe for use in all types of automotive air conditioning and air conditioning service equipment. Special TRACER® leak detection additives are already approved for use with new refrigerants such as CO2 and R1234yf. TRACER® products contain 10 times more dyes than other UV additives, making them much more effective at detecting smaller leaks.
