Name: hydraulic epoxy putty

Two-component epoxy compound in the form of plasticine for the emergency repair of plumbing, refrigeration and heating equipment and devices. Shows great adhesion to damp and wet surfaces (including cross-links under water). A product with high mechanical strength and high resistance to chemical agents and changing temperatures and atmospheric factors. After curing, the joint is very hard and can be machined and painted.
- Features:
• dark blue
• high adhesion to wet surfaces
• the possibility of cross-linking under water
• is not electrically conductive
• pressure resistant in installations
• for indoor and outdoor use
• waterproof
• resistant to changing temperatures
• resistant to aggressive chemical substances (diluted acids and bases, most solvents), lubricants and working fluids
• after drying, it can be mechanically processed (grinding, cutting, drilling)
• can be painted
• solvent-free

APPLICATION
Materials: metals, glass, ceramics, porcelain, concrete, stone, wood, brick, gold, silver, steel, cork, wood-based materials
Application examples:
• repair of central heating radiators, e.g. radiator water inlet
• repair of leaking water pipes, e.g. the pipe under the sink, the drain pipe supplying water to the boiler
• garden faucet repair

SURFACE PREPARATION
Bonded surfaces should be:
o CLEAN
Clean the bonded surfaces so that they are free of dirt and contamination (dust, grease). Roughen surfaces before using epoxy adhesives. This increases the bonding surface and thus the strength of the bond. Then rinse the connected surfaces with a technical degreaser.
o DRY
Dry the cleaned surfaces.
CONDITIONS
o operating temperature
Use at temperatures above 10oC.
o Epoxy adhesives cross-link as a result of the chemical reaction of the resin (component A) with the hardener (component B) in a 1:1 volume ratio, so precision is very important when mixing the ingredients.

1. Cut two equal amounts of component A and component B with a knife.
2. Mix the two ingredients, knead them together for about 5 minutes using the hand rolling and kneading method until a uniform color is obtained.
3. Apply the prepared mixture to the prepared surface.
o Make sure that the application of the putty does not take longer than the working time, i.e. about 10 minutes after mixing.
4. Press firmly and smoothly.
o Fix the glued elements for a few minutes. The initial cross-linking time of the glue is about 30-40 minutes.
o After applying the mass, you can heat it, for example with a dryer. A higher ambient temperature improves the mechanical strength of the connection and shortens the crosslinking time.
5. In order for the joint to gain full strength, leave the glued element for 12 hours.

ADVICE AND NOTES
o Do not use PP to join PE and PTFE.
o Remove fresh stains with alcohol, acetone or isopropyl alcohol.
o After completing the repair, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
