Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ
Semi-fluid Lithium Grease
Product Description
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is a semi-fluid lithium hydroxystearate grease in the consistency group NLGI
000/00. It was specifically developed for central lubrication systems for commercial vehicles.
The particular strength of Chassis Grease LBZ is its excellent flow in low temperatures and in long pipelines.
The product is water resistant and therefore stable during water wash. In addition, it protects against formation
of rust.
Benefits
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ offers the following benefits:
· Can be used in a wide range of temperatures
· Reduced operating costs compared to greasing by hand due to lower maintenance costs and economic
usage
Applications
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is suitable for central lubrication systems using semi-fluid greases in commercial
vehicles.
It is recommended for the semi-fluid grease systems of the following manufacturers:
W Vogel, Berlin ( to -25°C )
Tecalemit, Bielefeld ( to -20°C )
Interlude, Ottobrun and, in particular, Mercedes Benz (Sheet 264 Semi-Fluid Greases)
Properties
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ exhibits excellent flow behaviour in long pipelines because of its special formulation
and semi-fluid consistency. Depending on the application it can flow at -25°C.
The oil film adheres well and does not run off, even during stoppages. There is rapid on-flow to the greasing
points.
It is stable in cold to warm water, therefore it can also be used in damp conditions or when there is warm water
ingress.
The good protection against rust also covers the use of ‘spreading’ salt and the related danger of rust on the
lubrication points of the chassis.
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is compatible with seals made of NBR, ACM and FKM, as long as these are suitable for the operating temperatures.

MOBIL

Mobil is a petroleum brand owned and operated by American oil and gas corporation ExxonMobil. The brand was formerly owned and operated by an oil and gas corporation of the same name, which itself merged with Exxon to form ExxonMobil in 1999. Mobil's brand name is primarily used to market motor oils, such as Mobil 1. The former Mobil headquarters in Fairfax County, Virginia, was used as ExxonMobil's downstream headquarters until 2015 when ExxonMobil consolidated employees into a new corporate campus in Spring, Texas.

Mobil credits itself with being the first company to introduce paying at the pump at its gas stations, the first company to produce jet aviation fuel, as well as the first company to introduce a mobile payment device, today known as Speedpass.

The Mobil brand now mainly covers a wide range of automotive, industrial, aviation and marine lubricants. For historic reasons, the Mobil brand is still used by Mobil service stations and for fuel (gasoline, diesel, heating oil, kerosene, aviation fuels and marine fuel) products.
