BRILLIANT TOOLS Thread Repair Kit BT541150 is perfect for repairing damaged or worn threads. It can be used to repair threads of different sizes quickly and easily. First, the old thread must be drilled out to the desired size with a spiral drill. Then the thread for the thread spacer must be cut. A manual installation tool may be used to insert the spacer into the manufactured thread. Once the thread spacer is in place, the studs can be cut off at the break point with a tape stripper.
