Metal drill bits, ground from strong cobalt alloy high-speed steel with excellent heat resistance according to DIN 338.
Suitable for drilling high alloyed steel and metals with a tensile strength of over 1000 N/mm²,² e.g. stainless steel.
QUAD EDGE™ Tip: Unique combination of 135° split point and four cutting edges: 135° split point enables accurate and fast drilling without walking. Four cutting blades create smaller chips to prevent heat build-up for longer periods of time.
Variable geometry of the working part of the drill: for faster material ejection. Helps the tip run cooler and prevents it from burning out faster.
Improved taper web: wider core towards the drill stem. Strengthens the core to increase the overall durability of the flute.
