1896 is the year it all begins: the entry in the commercial register. At the end of the 19th century, the decorative painters Brueckmann, Boysen and Weber ran a "painting school for decorative wall design" in Elberfeld. The first products sold were copper stencils.

  • 1998 entry into the construction market through the takeover of HBG Barteldrees GmbH.
  • Number one in Europe in 2011: the merger of Storch Holding GmbH with the internationally active Ciret Holdings AG to form Storch-Ciret Holding GmbH, based in Wuppertal. This makes the Storch-Ciret Group the market leader in painting tools in Europe.
