new 2025 tire model

Nokian Tyres Wetproof 1 is a fierce wet road performer, offering impeccable safety on rainy days and on wet roads. The most important features of this premium summer tyre are excellent braking performance on wet roads and powerful aquaplaning resistance. While Nokian Tyres Wetproof 1 is well balanced between maximum comfort and extreme safety, the tyre also has low rolling resistance and improved mileage.

  • exceptional safety on wet roads
  • excellent mileage
  • comfortable driving feeling
  • low rolling resistance saves energy and the environment

The best possible combination of wet and dry properties is thanks to Dual Zone Safety technology. For maximum comfort and first-class safety, the tyre's tread pattern area is divided into two functional zones. The Stability Zone makes manoeuvring easy and confident, offering good stability and handling properties, while the Wet Safety Zone improves wet grip and aquaplaning resistance.

When a tire comes into contact with more water than it can disperse, aquaplaning occurs. Nokian Tyres Coanda Technology aims to accelerate water removal by directing and shifting the flow of water away from the tire, effectively preventing this dangerous phenomenon. The Flow sipe design in the center of the tread contributes to added stability and improved aquaplaning prevention.

A smooth and comfortable ride is an absolute requirement for an enjoyable road experience. Silent Groove Design makes the ride more comfortable by reducing interior and exterior noise and preventing unpleasant howling. The new Aqua Sense compound ensures excellent wet grip, low rolling resistance and excellent mileage. Improved wear resistance means more mileage and service life for the tire, while low rolling resistance leads to energy cost savings.

For maximum comfort and first-class safety, the tire's tread pattern area is divided into two functional zones. The two-zone safety concept offers an excellent combination of dry and wet performance. The stability zone is located on the outside of the tire and makes maneuvering easy and confident, providing good stability and handling properties, while the wet safety zone on the inside improves wet grip and aquaplaning resistance.
