Kumho Tire (formerly Samyang Tire) is a South Korean tire manufacturer. It is a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate Doublestar. Kumho Tire manufactures all types of tires under the Kumho, Marshal & Zetum brand names. Kumho Tire was founded in 1960 and is now among the top ten tire companies in the world. Kumho has a global presence in 180 countries and produces more than 68 million tires every year.
Kumho Tire owns three production facilities in South Korea and also a research and development center, there are also three production facilities in China, one production facility is located in Vietnam and one more in the U.S.A.
