Apps
An AMSOIL engine and transmission flush is recommended
diesel and gasoline engines and automatic transmissions. it is
not recommended for differentials.
Instructions for use
Although AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush works in one application, it is safe enough to be used at every oil change. If using a rinse aid, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.
Engine: Add the entire bottle of AMSOIL to the engine and transmission
Flush the engine oil filler hole. Run the engine at idle speed for 10-15 minutes,
then drain the oil immediately. Ensure sufficient time
completely drain the system. Remove and replace the motor
oil filter. Fill the engine with new viscosity class engine oil
recommended by the manufacturer.
Gearbox: Engage the emergency brake. Add the entire bottle
AMSOIL Engine and gearbox Flush the gearbox oil fill
to the port. 10-15 minutes at idle; gear shift through drive and reverse. Do
DO NOT place the vehicle under a heavy load. Drain the entire transmission
and a fluid torque converter. The filter must be changed first
filling with new transmission fluid.
