the device enables easy diagnosis and quick detection of head gasket damage. part of the exhaust gases in the case of a damaged head gasket or the head itself. which contains, among other things, co2 goes into the cooling system. the working principle of the device is based on measuring the CO2 content in the cooling system.

the reaction liquid in the tester chamber reacts with the gases of the cooling system and changes color when the co2 content increases.
the two-chamber design of the device (with a filter between the chambers) allows the separation of residues (eg coolant drops) in the first chamber. which may negatively affect the test result.
