Available 2pc. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it will absorb water over time, thus causing the boiling point to drop (danger of vapor lock). Therefore, it black be checked regularly and replaced if necessary.
The particularly inexpensive ATE BFT 320 allows you to measure the boiling points of all glycol-based brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1) with the same accuracy as in the laboratory.
The ATE BFT 320 is an extremely practical tester with a 12-volt power supply. This means that the measurement can easily be carried out at the expansion tank of the vehicle.
A sample vial and a pipette are included, allowing measurements to be taken away from the vehicle.
Simple menu instructions for users are the highlights of the ATE BFT 320. It only takes about 30 seconds to measure and the measured value is displayed on the digital screen. A recommendation to change the brake fluid will then be displayed. This means that it is no longer necessary to change the brake fluid just in case of doubt.
