measurement assistant® function
the function informs the appraiser of the car whether it has undergone body and paint repairs.
if the function is enabled, the meter displays messages about the condition of the metal plate on the screen:

"thin" - too thin varnish;
"lak ok" - the right varnish;
"2xlak" - second layer of varnish;
"Put!" - putty.
it should be noted that the measurement assistant® function is only an aid in the interpretation of measurements, it cannot be the basis for an unequivocal answer to the question of whether the car has undergone bodywork and paint repair. however, many car appraisers don't really know what a given paint thickness means, so the above feature is helpful in that regard.

the meters have an elastically suspended measuring head, which is designed in such a way that when the probe is pressed against the tested surface, it "slides" into the probe body. thanks to this, the measurement becomes more accurate due to a more even pressure on the tested surface. hand tremor has also been smoothed out.

the front part of the probe is made of high-quality plastic, thanks to which it will work for years.

the calibration-zero function means that the meter measures correctly under all conditions, even after years of use. you can calibrate the meter before measuring and be sure that the measurements are correct. the meter has compensation, thanks to which it calibrates automatically, but accurate calibration is always possible using a calibration plate. note the meter without calibration plates - on such meters, the measurement error rabbet increases, as the probe wears (frictions) and also affects the aging of the electronic components. therefore, meters worth several thousand zlotys also come with calibration plates and a calibration function.
